Kurnakov Andrei Ilyich - People's Artist of the USSR, winner of the Repin State Prize. Repin. He began his creative career after the Great Patriotic War. He is a teacher, professor at the Orel State University. He is considered one of the founders of the Orel school of painting.
His works are in the State Tretyakov Gallery, the State Russian Museum, museums of the Russian Federation, in private collections in Russia and abroad.
