The picture of Konstantin Starotchetov «Sesenin» at a clear «beauty» picture represents a semiotically complex of communicative signs. Idyllic table still life taken from the cover of «Crocodile» magazine for 1985: the place of newlyweds is now taken by Sergey Yesenin, whose portrait, with the light hand of the artist, ironically «framed» with bottles of vodka. The very image of the poet is made in the style of pop art with its characteristic planar color casting and polygraphic clear contours. The name - «Sesenin» refers to the polygraphic prototype, which was caused by missing the space after the initials of the poet’s name. However, if Western European pop art appealed to the phenomenon of modern mass culture, Konstantin Stargazetov refers to the collective unconscious cultural code of the post-Soviet space.
