The "wedding procession" of Adolf Amberg was planned for the Prussian court on the occasion of the marriage of Frederick William and Cecilia von Mecklenburg-Schwerin, but it was not performed. In 1908, the first porcelain figurines were made after Theodore Shmuz-Baudis bought the Amberg design for the Royal Porcelain Manufactory in Berlin. The figures of CPM from the wedding service were first seen at the 1910 World’s Fair in Paris, and then it was shown entirely in 1911 as part of the Great Berlin Art Exhibition. The procession consists of garlands, two bowls with fruits, two candlesticks and twenty individual figures.
